R&P POLYPLASTIC targeting Europe to drive expansion

.

Top-management of R&P POLYPLASTIC had a series of meetings with international equipment suppliers. Business agenda took place in Germany within the framework of the International Fakuma Exhibition.

Under the terms of the investment program R&P POLYPLASTIC plans to increase production capacity by 50% over the next 5 years. In 2018 alone, the company is spending 1.5 million Euro on technical modernization. The Exhibition became a good platform for choosing a strategic supplier and finding out more about new equipment and the latest trends. “We already have 22 extrusion lines in operation. However, this is not enough considering the geographical expansion of sales”, said R&P Polyplastic’s managing director Aleksandr Pavlov stressing that demand for polymer compounds is increasing.

At Fakuma, the firm reported that executives were in search of a strategic equipment supplier. Executives met with European firms including extrusion machinery manufacturers KraussMaffei Berstorff and Coperion and the feeding, weighing and discharging equipment supplier Brabender Technologie.

The Polyplastic delegation at Fakuma also held meetings with companies supplying compounding raw materials and functional additives used in the firm’s production lines and which influence product quality.

Executives also used the fair platform to talk with potential European distribution partners in the Russian compounder’s quest to boost export sales in the region, reported Moscow-based R&P Polyplastic
