R&P POLYPLASTIC holds a lecture on cancer prevention

Dear colleagues, dear friends!

In the previous press release, R&P POLYPLASTIC has already mentioned its decision to take part in a campaign against cancer. This year the fight against cancer has become an issue of national importance. This problem is not only discussed by ordinary people and the professional community. President Vladimir Putin also urged the society to pay special attention to cancer prevention. The year 2018 has been officially declared The year of fight against cancer.

Regrettably, cancer in Russia has become a national calamity. Cancer is second in the structure of death causes after cardiovascular diseases. The most common types of cancer are lung cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer. Men most often suffer from lung cancer and women from breast cancer.

This tragedy may unexpectedly concern almost anyone. There is a number of our employees who have been fighting cancer for many years and know about this disease for a fact. One of the reasons for these sad statistics is the lack of highly specialized oncologists.

R&P POLYPLASTIC decided to concentrate its efforts in this line of work. Together with the Cancer Prevention Fund, we are holding a competition for fully prepaid internship in the specialization of oncology. This allows to attract additional attention to the lack of oncologists.

Moreover, a number of lectures on cancer prevention will be held for R&P POLYPLASTIC employees by a well-known specialist Ilia Fomintsev. Ilia has worked in this area for many years.

We invite you to take part in the first lecture, which will be held on October 19 at 3 PM at conference hall 120 in the Moscow headquarters.  

During his lecture Ilia will pay special attention to main risk factors, prevention of different types of cancer and modern methods of treatment.
