R&P POLYPLASTIC offers concentrates of two types under the ARMOFLEN brand: concentrates of calcium carbonate and oxo-biodegradable concentrates.

 

Features

Products made of polymers with the addition of this concentrate will automatically and safely start to degrade by the end of service life. Degradation takes 2 to 6 years. Polymeric products may be produced according to the conventional process - there is no need to change their thickness or design. It only needs to be added in a certain amount.

Application

The Polyplastic R&D company offers concentrates of two types under the ARMOFLEN brand: concentrates of calcium carbonate and oxo-biodegradable concentrates. Calcium carbonate concentrates: HDPE, LDPE and PP are used as a polymeric matrix, calcium carbonate CaCO3 is used as a filler and modifier. The formulation of CaCO3 concentrates was developed according to the recommendations and with the technical support of the Swiss company OMYA® — the leader in the production of fine mineral fillers.

Oxo-biodegradable concentrates: ARMOFLEN BI-O2-102 is a superconcentrate on a polymeric basis developed with regard to the requirements of ecological safety and climate patterns of Russia. The formulation does not contain harmful or dangerous substances. Products containing the concentrate are approved for contact with food. Products made of polymers with the addition of this concentrate will automatically and safely start to degrade by the end of service life. Degradation takes 2 to 6 years.
