R&P POLYPLASTIС is developing a new material to reduce vehicles weight

Experts of R&P POLYPLASTIC are planning to start research on new unique high-tech compounds. Delegates told about it within the framework of the Gaspetrochemical Forum taking place in the city of Kazan.

The report was presented during the “Tatarstan Polymers: science, innovation and production” conference. The report highlighted that today R&P POLYPLASTIC mainly uses domestic block copolymers and homopolymers. “The Company produces more than 60000 tons of products based on Russian raw materials each year”, the speaker told.

He noted that the process of import substitution is carried out with our longstanding partner Nizhmekamskneftehim. Today R&P POLYPLASTIC is expecting new raw materials with stronger performance rates from our suppliers. Access to this material allows to follow the trend of modern automotive manufacturers to reduce weight and thickness of vehicles. According to experts, this task can be solved by using more advanced materials ensuring better liquidity and rheology while maintaining necessary physical and mechanical performance.

Delegates of R&P POLYPLASTIC took part in discussions about the latest trends of plastic processing industry. Moreover, within the framework of the Conference R&P POLYPLASTIC has been honored a letter of appreciation from Nizhmekamskneftehim for cooperation in the area of developing new materials based on polymers produced by Tatarstan suppliers.
