R&P POLYPLASTIC suspends shipments to Automotive Components Ltd.

The company had to make this hard decision in connection with a past-due debt of the large Russian automotive components supplier. At the moment the amount due exceeds 130 million Rubles. Automotive Components Ltd. had problems with fulfilling its financial obligations since last fall. Attempts to settle the dispute through negotiations failed, the agreement reached in the end of 2017 has not been performed despite the fact that R&P POLYPLASTIC has supplied the entire declared volume of compounds for Q1 2018.

“The amount due constitutes a risk to the working assets of the company and exceeds all acceptable limits. The previous warranty liabilities has not been performed. But, considering our long-term relations, we are ready to continue with supplies as soon as our customer comes forward with the initiative to settle the debt,” commented Andrey Menshov, managing partner of R&P POLYPLASTIC.   

He added that these measures only apply to one company. Other consumers shall not be affected.
